Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robotic vacuum cleaners and mops are the most efficient method of quickly cleaning up messes. The best robot vacuums and mops in my tests are top-quality in navigation and mapping, picking up Cheerios wires, tangled wires and fake dog turds with out leaving them behind.
You can also schedule cleaning chores using an app and track their progress.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
If you're looking for the best robot vacuum and mop combo that has cutting-edge features you should take a look at the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This premium vacuum is quick and agile and picked up human hair and pet hair almost flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It has a sleek app interface that comes with a mini-map of your home, as well as buttons on the screen to allow manual control.
The S8's Dirt Detection Technology enables it to change the cleaning mode based on the level of dirt. It will wash its mopping pads more frequently when it comes across dust. Carpeted areas are given priority for mopping using a damp mopping pad.
It's got a host of other smart features also, including an alternative dock that connects to the plumbing in your home to wash and clean the mop without requiring refilling it manually. You can also use voice commands with the S8's built-in voice assistant using the phrase "Hey Rocky" to specify the cleaning of your room, modes, and granular control options with your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking to buy a hands-free robot vacuum that has mopping capabilities the Yeedi Cube is one of the more versatile choices. It's part of a plethora of robot vacuums with combo features that also feature mops however it's priced at a cheaper price than the majority of competitors.
Like most robot vacuums, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get started. This involves setting up an account with the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once you've completed this, the robot will start vacuuming and mops easily.
It's worth noting that the mapping process can take quite a while, and it may take a few times before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate view of your space. The object detection feature is hit-and-miss. It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles, but it was stuck on a looser rug with tassels and needed to turn to release itself. However, these aren't major issues, and the Yeedi Cube is still a ideal choice for those who need an all-in-one solution for cleaning.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its mopping technology is advanced and features a rotating motion similar to hand scrubbing, which results in floors that are truly cleaned and not just swept. The detachable stick vacuum is a game changer that enables you to reach spots even robotic vacuums aren't able to reach.
This model is essentially identical to the well-known X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction capacity of 8,700Pa and additional smart features. The upgraded RGBD sensor will learn to understand your home better and offer dynamic obstacle avoidance. And the smart app lets you adjust the settings of your choice, including scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping by having both the robot vacuum and mop returning to their charging base after each task to clean their pads and empty their dust bins and put the waste in a self-sealing bag. This helps keep the system tidy and stops allergens from returning to the system. The battery life is long enough to cover large areas without requiring a recharge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the more top-quality robot vacuums and mop models that we have reviewed, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for its price. It has powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a rotating floor brush for carpets, and a great obstacle-avoiding. It also has an innovative mopping technique which uses a rolling device that is continuously spraying with water to collect dirt and deposit it in the water tank.
Its navigation system was efficient. It avoided the stairs and was able to navigate close to walls without falling. However, it did struggle with fine engrained debris and didn't always clear raised room thresholds. The operating noise level is also quite high, which suggests it could be less of a "set-and-forget" model than some.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, is equipped with docking technology that allows it to replenish its clean water tank, empty the dustbin, wash and dry the mop, and empty its mop pad. This makes upkeep easy and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors according to an ongoing basis. You can control all its functions through the Eufy app, which gives an overview of the system and plenty of configuration options.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the most premium robot vacuums/mowers available, and it offers an impressive mix of mopping and vacuuming performance. best robot vacuum cleaner mapping sensor can detect furniture legs and other obstacles with good precision. The app allows users to fine-tune coverage of the map, define no-go zones, and modify cleaning preferences. The Freo's brush is designed to stop hair from wrapping around it. This can be an issue for many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too and comes with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system also incorporates intelligent carpet detection, lifting these pads upwards when they're close to soft surfaces to prevent contamination of the carpet.
The docking station functions as a hands-free maintenance centre that is able to wash and dry the mops and refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station also has integrated dust processing that compacts dust for 7 weeks of hassle-free operation unlike conventional robot vacuums which empty their dust bins every time they need to be emptied.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars less than the S8 and this robot does an excellent job of keeping my home office spotless and also take on the corners of my cramped apartment. It makes use of laser mapping and a camera to make an image of your home which allows it to know where to stay away from. It has an object/obstacle detector that can avoid things like toys and dog bowls (but not poop) unlike other vacuums.

It also has some outstanding notable features, like a self-emptying dust bin and a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas other mops miss. You can also customize the settings for each room and set up cleaning schedules.
It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and is able to distinguish between carpets and laminate with high-pile carpets. It also lets you skip cleaning rooms that aren't dirty if you're looking to reduce time. It's an excellent option for those who have a variety of flooring in your home and don't want to spend the extra money for the Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great option to consider if you're looking for a versatile robot that can perform regular daily maintenance and touch-ups to messy water stains. It comes with a variety of features including a self-emptying dustbin and an additional water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings within the app. It's quite quiet, and it's able to navigate between furniture legs and socks effortlessly. It can't pick tangled rug tassels up and its battery drains quicker than other models we've test.
With a cost of less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and handy automation into a slick design. It didn't perform as well in our mopping and mopping tests like the expensive Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however it did very well overall. It also includes a wide selection of cleaning options to suit your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for debris that is light to the more robust 'Turbo' mode that is ideal for carpeted rooms. It even has the ability to automatically remove and reattach its mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot vacuum and mop that can be used in small areas. It's very quiet and fast, and it does a great job of maneuvering around tight spaces. It's also excellent at removing pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than many of its competitors however it doesn't compromise features. It has a good amount of suction power and it's possible to take a picture of each object it picks up (i.e. chew toys, or socks, etc.)) and mark them as 'not found' in the app so that they aren't taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are encrypted and are not tied to your account.
It is great at vacuuming, but not so good at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes you clip onto the bottom of the bot, and it essentially drags them around your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal with water reservoirs, and automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
